OUR APPROACH

A complete innovation
chain for
real industrial impact

GREENLINE has been designed around the complete innovation chain required to develop, demonstrate and exploit a new approach to industrial heat treatment.

Research organisations and universities provide expertise in metallurgy, materials science, modelling and environmental assessment. Technology providers develop the ultra-fast cooling and electrified furnace systems. Steelmaking, forging and casting partners ensure that the technology responds to real materials, production and quality requirements. Industrial integration expertise connects these technologies into a complete process, while communication and exploitation activities support knowledge transfer and future market uptake.

This complementary structure enables GREENLINE to move beyond laboratory research and validate its technologies under representative industrial conditions.
